Return your tag
You may need to return a tag if:
- You’ve found a tag you reported as lost or stolen
- You’re changing vehicle types and need a different tag
- You received the wrong tag
- You’re closing your account or an account of someone who has died
- You remove a vehicle from your account and don’t intend to add a different vehicle of the same class
- You have more tags than you need
- The tag has a flat battery or is faulty and you have ordered a replacement tag
You don’t need to return your tag holder. A tag cannot be cancelled, so if you have an existing tag that you no longer need, you need to return it, or report it as lost or stolen so that you don't incur any additional fees.
Which tags you can return
You can return all Linkt tags to us, including:
- go via
- Roam Express
- E-way
- Roam
- CityLink
If you have a tag from a different toll operator (for example, EastLink or E-Toll), you’ll need to return it to them.
Tag return address
To return your Linkt tag, remove the tag from its holder and place inside a standard envelope (please don’t return tags inside a satchel or parcel, unless you are returning 4 or more tags at once).
