How can we help?

Swapping tags between your vehicles

Tags can be moved between your vehicles, as long as all vehicles are: 

  • In the same vehicle class (car, light commercial vehicle or heavy commercial vehicle)
  • Linked to an active account

You should have a separate tag for each vehicle on your account and you should also add each vehicle to your account to ensure that you are covered for travel if you forget your tag. There is no charge for new tags.

You can have 1 tag per vehicle on your account for Prepaid and Postpaid Accounts. You can have unlimited tags for Commercial Accounts. 

If you have multiple tags, make sure you only have one in a vehicle at a time or you may be charged twice for each trip.

You don’t need to assign a tag to a vehicle – our technology works out which tag was used for you. The Last known plate will display the last vehicle licence plate  that travelled using your tag - you can find this on the Tags and holders screen in your account.
