What the tag beeps mean
Tags make different sounds depending on the status of your Linkt account. Your tag may change its sound to warn you of a problem with your account.
If you have difficulty hearing the sounds your tags makes, you can still use a tag. We'll send you notifications that give you the same information as a tag beep.
Your tag should beep when you pass through a toll point. If it doesn't beep, the tag may be faulty or incorrectly installed.
Please refer to our installation guides and try reinstalling your tag:
- Installing a tag in a car or light commercial vehicle
- Installing a tag in a heavy commercial vehicle
Check if your tag is working with our tag health check. If your tag is faulty, you can order a replacement tag online.
Types of tags
The meaning of each beep depends on the type of tag. Compare your tag with each of the following illustrations to find out what they mean.
