Removing your tag or holder
How to remove a tag holder from your windscreen
- Leave the tag in the holder.
- Grip the tag and its holder firmly with one hand and twist left and right a few times to loosen the glue from the windscreen. When it loosens, turn it sharply and firmly in one direction.
- If it doesn’t come off, try again from step 1.
- Use a household window cleaner and cloth to remove any residue from your windscreen.
Tip: For stubborn adhesive some users have had success running fishing line between the base of the tag holder and the windscreen.

If you have more than one vehicle registered to your account, you can move tags between vehicles. If you use your tag in a vehicle not linked to your account, you may receive a toll invoice or notice.
Tags should only be moved between vehicles in the same vehicle class, to make sure you're not incorrectly charged.
