How do taxis access Brisbane Airport holding areas?
You need an active account‡ and tag to access the specified holding areas and terminal taxi ranks at Brisbane Airport.
You won’t be able to access the airport if:
- you forget your tag
- you’re travelling on a pass
- your account is suspended
- your tag was issued by Linkt Melbourne or Linkt Sydney or Breeze
If you have a tag but can’t get into the Primary Holding Area, it may be that your account is suspended. You’ll need to top up your account before making any airport pick-ups or drop-offs

Airport charges will appear on your statement as ‘Brisbane Airport'.
‡ You need a Linkt Brisbane, RMS or Beep tag and toll account to access the Brisbane Airport taxi holding area. If your tag was not issued by one of these retailers, it cannot be used to access Brisbane airport.
