Why have I received a letter from a debt collection agency?
When you travel on a toll road without a valid pass or account, a toll notice requesting payment for your trip plus additional admin fees will be sent to the registered owner of the vehicle.
If this first notice goes unpaid, a follow-up notice of demand is then issued.
When we send a notice of demand, you have 32 days to pay the full amount. Unless you pay, or an alternative arrangement is made within this time, the debt may be referred to one of our debt collection agencies.
The following debt collection agencies have been authorised to act on our behalf:
Collection agency | Phone |
---|---|
Collection House | 1300 241 744 07 3017 3235 |
ARMA (formerly Credit Solutions and Credit Clear) | 07 3053 5035 |
Recoveries Corp | 1300 135 017 |
If you receive a letter from Tollaust Pty Ltd (trading as Linkt) and one of the above collection agencies, please pay the total amount owing or call the agency listed in the letter immediately to discuss your payment options.
If you are having difficulty paying, our debt collection partners can work with you to negotiate settlement terms or tailor a repayment plan that works for you. Their staff include trained financial counsellors who can help negotiate a reasonable and manageable amount for you to pay.
