If you received a toll invoice but you weren’t driving
If you received a toll invoice and you didn’t travel on a toll road, it might be because:
- You recently sold your vehicle
- Someone else was driving your vehicle
- Your vehicle or licence plates were stolen
If your vehicle or licence plates were stolen, please contact us as soon as possible. You'll need to provide us with a copy of the police report or the Incident Report Number, and the name of the police station where the vehicle or licence plate was reported stolen.
Nominate another driver
If someone else was driving, you can transfer the invoice to that person. This is called a toll invoice nomination. This can only be done a maximum of twice per invoice.
You can complete the nomination online if the other driver is responsible for all the trips shown on the toll invoice. You'll need the full invoice number as well as the details of the person you want to nominate for the transfer.
If you are unable to complete the nomination online, for example if there are multiple trips on your toll invoice and you only want to transfer some of them, you can complete a toll invoice nomination statement form.
You’ll still need to pay the balance owing for the trips you made by the due date.
