How can we help?

Toll notices and invoices and LinktGO

A toll notice or toll invoice is a bill for unarranged toll road travel in Australia that’s sent to the vehicle’s owner within 4 weeks of the travel date. It includes the cost of your toll road trips plus additional admin fees.

If you have LinktGO but receive a toll notice or invoice, there may be an issue in the app with your vehicle or payments. To avoid toll notices and invoices, make sure:

  • The vehicle you travel in is correctly registered to LinktGO
  • Your vehicle details are entered correctly (for example, the number plate and state of registration is correct)
  • Your app isn’t blocked because of previous unpaid or overdue trips
  • You cover any past trips by selecting ‘Already travelled’ if you register for LinktGO after travelling on a toll road

Pay a toll notice or invoice with LinktGO

If you're new to LinktGO, follow these steps to pay your toll notice/invoice:

  1. Download LinktGO from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. On the home screen, tap 'Pay toll invoice' and follow the instructions to pay.
  3. After payment, tap 'Learn More' to learn how to register your vehicle with LinktGO to avoid future toll invoices/notices.

If you're already a LinktGO user, follow these steps:

  • On iOS, tap 'More' and then 'Pay Toll Invoice'. On Android, tap 'Menu' and then 'Pay Toll Invoice'. Follow the prompts to pay.
  • After payment, make sure your vehicle details are correctly registered with the app to avoid future toll invoices/notices. Check by going to 'My Vehicles' in the menu (iOS) or 'More' > 'My Vehicles' (Android).

If the road you drove on is not available

If the toll road you travelled on isn't available on LinktGO, it may be because you need to update your app version. Alternatively, toll invoices and notices for some roads can’t be paid through LinktGO. If you don't see the toll road you travelled on, please follow the payment instructions provided in your letter.

Selecting ‘Already travelled’ to avoid toll invoices

With LinktGO, you can cover trips that were taken:

  • Up to 3 days ago on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel (NSW) and EastLink (VIC)
  • Up to 5 days ago on all other toll roads in Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland
  • When adding your vehicle, you will be asked if you have ‘Already travelled?’. Toggle 'Yes' to cover past travel
