The WestConnex 24-kilometre tunnel network speed limit will increase from 20 April 2024.
The speed limit will increase from 80km/h to 90km/h. This will apply to the WestConnex M4, M8 and the M4-M8 Link tunnels – as shown on the map below.
The speed of the on and off ramps will remain at 60km/h, with the exception of Homebush Bay Drive which will increase to 70km/h.
Please remember that variable speed limits can apply so always drive to the conditions and follow the speed limit shown on the signs.
