A proposed upgrade of the Logan Motorway is set to change the way you travel around Brisbane and Logan.
Transurban is partnering with the Queensland Government to develop plans to widen approximately 10km of the western section of the Logan Motorway – between Formation Street and the Mount Lindesay Highway.
Help shape this project by having your say.

What are the predicted project benefits?
- Reduce travel times by up to 20 minutes during peak periods by 2031
- Reduce congestion on the motorway and local roads
- Remove an estimated 6,100 trucks and cars from local streets daily
- Create hundreds of local jobs
- Improve road safety, reliability and connectivity for freight accessing key economic hubs.
If approved, the Logan West Upgrade project is scheduled to start construction in 2027 and be completed before the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
