Supporting our community after Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred

Our thoughts are with everyone across South East Queensland who has been affected by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

To help our local communities across the region recover from this significant weather event, we've worked closely with local charities and community groups most in need to provide cash grants to support their disaster relief and recovery efforts.

We also have our dedicated hardship program Linkt Assist available to provide support to customers who have been directly impacted by the natural disaster.

If you're experiencing financial hardship as a result of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, you may be eligible for support with your toll road payments.

Lighthouse Care Lighthouse Care provide emergency food relief and hampers for families in need across Logan.

The grant will be used to provide $25 trolleys of food for free to community members who have been impacted by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred as part of their ongoing disaster relief program.
Baby Give Back Baby Give Back is a Queensland charity with a mission to give children an equal start in life by providing material basics, like clothing and nappies, to vulnerable families.

The grant will be used to provide immediate relief to families affected by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred across South East Queensland, focusing on essentials like nappies, formula, and baby items.
Bayside State School  Bayside State School runs the Bayside Cares program out of their cafĂ© where they provide fresh and frozen meals to families who are struggling with cost of living challenges.

The grant will help to replenish food lost during Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred to provide meals for families in the community who are struggling to put food on the table. 
Bethania Community Centre Bethania Community Centre is a local community centre in the Logan region.

The grant will provide critical funding for their upcoming market to provide emergency food relief and basic essentials to those impacted by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. 
Community+ Community+ are a community-led organisation focused on building positivity, hope and resilience with community by providing grassroots pathways for connection, support and opportunity.

The grant will fund emergency food relief and basic resources to assist impacted communities get back to normal as quickly as possible.
Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club offers lifesaving, youth development and surf sport activities for their local community.

The grant will be used to fund urgent repairs to their facilities as a result of damage sustained during Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Grandchester Model Live Steam Association The Grandchester Model Live Steam Association is a not-for-profit organisation providing miniature trains rides for children and adults alike.

The grant will be used to complete flood repairs to the tracks and their facility ahead of their upcoming community day.
Ipswich Knights Football Club Ipswich Knights Football Club is a local rugby league club who sustained significant damage as a result of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

The grant will contribute towards the repairs required to their grounds and facilities.   
Kingston East Neighbourhood Centre Kingston East Neighbourhood Centre is a local community centre based in Logan region.

The grant will be used to fund the bare necessities for community members impacted by the cyclone, such as food relief, medication, hygiene items and clothing. 
Loganlea Community Centre Loganlea Community Centre provides support to their local community including those who are homeless, community members struggling with cost of living pressures, seniors and youth.

The grant will be used to fund their free weekly community meals for those in need, as well as their support services including providing showers and clothes washing facilities. 
Ocean Crusaders Ocean Crusaders educate people about the need to look after our oceans and waterways, and undertake specialist cleaning programs to ensure they remain clear of debris.

The grant will be used to fund a day of cleaning in the Brisbane River and Moreton Bay to remove debris caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. 
Redlands Community Centre Redlands Community Centre excels in bringing together essential services, connecting the community, and delivering impactful social solutions.

The grant will be used to fund a community event to provide support to Redlands community members who are struggling financially after the impacts of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
ReStart SEQ ReStart SEQ is a charity supporting individuals affected by domestic violence and homelessness across South East Queensland.

The grant will help to restock their storage facility which was damaged in Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, assisting to replenish essential items including bedding and household supplies to help rehouse disaster-affected families and survivors of domestic violence.
