Every year Transurban gives away grants of up to $10,000 for projects that bring social, road safety and environmental benefits to communities in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Last year, grants were awarded for community projects such as: kitting out a local State Emergency Service branch, building an outdoor space for First Nations community gatherings, and supporting programs that teach kids how to ride their bikes safely.

This year, it could be your initiative that receives a grant. So, if you’re doing good things in the community, we strongly encourage you to apply.*

This year the grants will be awarded in two categories:

  1. First Nations
At least one grant in each eligible state will be awarded to a First Nations organisation or initiative.
  2. People’s Choice
Community members also have the chance to boost the funds for one 2024 grant recipient in each eligible state, via our People’s Choice voting initiative. The top-voted recipients will receive a bonus amount.
