    I have a fleet of business vehicles. Can I open a Commercial account?

    Yes, you can. Commercial accounts have features that make it easy to track and manage your fleet’s toll road costs. Benefit from analytics tools, extended payment terms and a dedicated customer service centre for our Commercial account holders.

    You can open a Commercial account online. All you need is:

    • your ABN or ACN
    • your company name and trading name
    • at least one vehicle license plate number
    • your car’s make, model and fleet ID (if applicable)

    All applications will undergo a credit check and we may ask you for additional information and financial security.

  • What's the difference between a Commercial account and a Tag or Tagless account?

    What's the difference between a Commercial account and a Tag or Tagless account?

    A Tag account will suit the regular user, while a Tagless account is designed for the occasional user.

    A Commercial account includes advanced features designed to help fleet managers track toll charges. These features make it easy to get itemised financial data and analyse your expenses.

    Having a Commercial account also means getting monthly tax invoices and paying your fees and charges in arrears.

    Toll charges are the same whether you have a Commercial, Tag or Tagless account. However, a Commercial account has different account admin fees.

    How many vehicles can I have on my account?

    You can link as many vehicles as you like to a Tag, Tagless or Commercial account.

    When a car linked to a Tag or Commercial account doesn't have a correctly installed tag, you'll will incur a no tag in vehicle fee per trip. You can reduce your fees by making sure each vehicle has a correctly installed tag.

    A tag can be moved between vehicles as long as all vehicles are:

    • in the same vehicle class (Car or Heavy commercial vehicle)
    • linked to an active Tag account

    We recommend that you have a separate tag for each vehicle linked to your account. 

    If you do have multiple tags make sure you have only one in a vehicle at a time or you may be charged twice for each trip.

    Vehicle matching fees are charged for matching your licence plate number to your Tagless account.

  • How do I apply for a Commercial account?

    How do I apply for a Commercial account?

    You can apply for a Commercial account online. You’ll need to provide us with the following info:

    • an Australian Business Number (ABN) or Australian Company Number (ACN)
    • a business address, telephone number and email address for invoicing
    • the licence plate number, state of registration, make, model and fleet ID (if applicable) of at least one vehicle

    Once your account is active, you can start using toll roads using the vehicle listed on your account. However, unless you have a tag installed in your vehicle, you’ll be charged a no tag in vehicle fee.

    When you open your account you have the option of ordering a tag when you enter your vehicle’s details.

    Please note that you’ll need to agree to a credit check. We may also ask for additional financial information to complete the application process.
