Offer Privacy Collection Statement – Global Escapes

Your personal information will be collected by the entity within Transurban (as described in our Privacy Policy referred to below) that trades as Linkt in the State that you are located in (Linkt, we, us or our). The relevant Transurban entity is Queensland Motorways Management Pty Ltd (ABN 86 010 630 921) if you are in Queensland, CityLink Melbourne Limited (ABN 65 070 810 678) if you are in Victoria or Tollaust Pty Limited (ABN 37 050 538 693) if you are in NSW. We collect and hold personal information about you in order to provide you with Linkt Rewards offers from Ignite Travel Pty Ltd (ABN 54 113 281 726) trading as Global Escapes (Global Escapes) and for the purposes otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy at www.linkt.com.au/legal/policies/transurban-privacy-policy.  

We may also use your personal information for the purpose of direct marketing and personalising messages to you (receiving exclusive offers, updates about the Linkt Customer Rewards Program and promotions e.g. entry to competitions from Linkt and offers we think might be of interest to you). You can opt out of receiving direct marketing from us at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in a communication or contacting us or updating your account preferences through the Linkt website.

When you book a holiday package offer through your use of the link provided through the Linkt app, we will enable you access to a dedicated Global Escapes webpage where you will receive discounted pricing and/or additional value on a selection of holiday escapes, tours and cruises. We will not disclose your personal information to Global Escapes. Global Escapes will collect information about you directly from you to enable Global Escapes to offer you (as a Linkt customer) the relevant offers. When you click through to the Global Escapes website, Global Escapes privacy practices will apply.

We will collect additional information about you from Global Escapes in connection with your redemption of the discount offer, which may include the date and time of your booking, dates relating to your travel, details of your booking including package purchased, how the package was booked, length of your package, number of passengers, where your package leaves from, the amount paid and discount provided to you for the purpose of improving and enhancing this offer, expanding offers from Global Escapes, development of additional partnerships and communicating the value of this, and other discount offers to you. If we cannot collect this information from Global Escapes, we may not be able to provide you with future discount offers. Global Escapes will otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy at www.ignitetravel.com/ignite-travel-privacy-policy/. We will collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy at www.linkt.com.au/legal/policies/transurban-privacy-policy. Our Privacy Policy also explains:

  1. how we store and use, and how you may access and correct your personal information;
  2. how you can lodge a complaint regarding the handling of your personal information; and
  3. how we will handle any complaint.

In particular the information you provide us may also be disclosed to third parties that help us deliver our services (including information technology suppliers, communication suppliers and our business partners) or as required by law. We may disclose information to recipients that are located in a different Australian State or Territory to you and to recipients located outside Australia. We may disclose personal information to contractors outside of Australia and may use off-shore servers for the purposes of data storage. We have engaged contractors in the Philippines, the United States, Portugal, France, India and certain other countries and may disclose certain personal information to those contractors.
