What is my vehicle class?
Vehicle class is a classification for vehicles that's determined by certain attributes, such as:
- Vehicle size
- Seating capacity
- Construction design
- Weight/mass
The Victorian Government has determined vehicle classes based on each vehicle's size, weight and configuration. Vehicle class definitions are the same on CityLink and EastLink motorways. Whether the vehicle is used for personal or commercial use does not influence the vehicle class.
Vehicle class and the distance you travel determine the tolls you pay.
