Account notifications
To make sure we communicate with you in a timely manner, we send you important account notifications by email or SMS.
If we have your email and mobile number, we'll try to email you, and if the email fails, we'll try to SMS you. It's important to keep your contact details up to date so you can receive these account notifications.
Notifications are automatically sent to you when:
- Your account balance is low
- Your account is overdue or overdrawn
- An auto payment fails
- A saved auto-payment card on your account is close to its expiry date
- We detect that your tag isn't beeping
- We detect your tag in a vehicle not listed on your account
- Your statement is available
- We detect one of your vehicles has been added to a tolling account that isn’t yours
SMS request to update your details
If we think your email address is incorrect or out of date, you may receive an SMS with instructions to log in to your account to check and update your contact details.
You can quickly check your details online by logging in to your account and selecting ‘My details’ from the menu.
Online safety
We will never send you an email or SMS requesting you to reply directly with your personal details, username or password, or your payment card details. Make sure you log in to the Linkt website or Linkt app by navigating to linkt.com.au to update any account information. If you receive a suspicious SMS or email do not click any links or attachments. Please report any suspected scam messages to us.
Push notifications
If you have the Linkt app installed on your mobile device, you can choose to receive these alerts as app notifications. You can customise your notification settings in the Linkt app, to choose what types of notifications you receive.
The Linkt app can only be used for Prepaid and Postpaid Accounts. Find out whether your device is compatible.
