  • Competition eligibility

    Who is eligible to enter?

    To be eligible to enter, you must be in one of the categories below:

    Existing Linkt Customer: Have an active consumer account on or before 15 December 2024 and meet the following criteria:

    • 18 years old or over,
    • resident of Australia,
    • primary or secondary account holder of an active consumer Linkt Tag Tagless, Prepaid or Postpaid Account who remain in an active account status until the draw date; and
    • be 'opted-in' to receive Linkt marketing and promotional communications from and remain opted-in on the draw date.

    New Linkt Customer: Open a Linkt consumer account between 16 December 2024 and 27 February 2025 and meet the following criteria:

    • 18 years old or over,
    • resident of Australia,
    • not already a primary account holder of a consumer Linkt Tag Tagless, Prepaid or Postpaid Account,
    • open a consumer Linkt Tag, Tagless, Prepaid or Postpaid Account between Monday 16 December 2024 and Thursday 27 February 2025; 
    • and the primary account holder must remain in an active account status until the draw date.

    Who is ineligible to enter?

    • Linkt consumer customers with a suspended account or a negative account balance as at the draw date,
    • LinktGO customers,
    • Linkt Commercial Account holders or Linkt Commercial Rental Account holders,
    • Linkt Pass holders,
    • directors and management of the Promoter,
    • officers, employees, and contingent workers of the Promoter, Queensland Motorways Management Pty Ltd and Sydney Motorway Corporation Pty Ltd; and/or,  
    • retailers, suppliers, associated companies, and agencies of the Promoter who are associated with this Promotion, and their directors, management and employees.

    I’m a LinktGO customer. Am I eligible to enter?

    LinktGO customers can’t enter the competition. If you’re a LinktGO customer and you would like to enter, you can open a Linkt account to go in the draw.

    What is the difference between an existing Linkt customer and new Linkt customer?

    Existing Linkt customer means an individual who has opened a Linkt active consumer account on or before Sunday 15 December 2024.

    New Linkt customer meansan individual who opens a Linkt consumer account between Monday 16 December 2024 and Thursday 27 February 2025.

    What does ‘Active Status’ mean?

    An active account means one that isn’t suspended or in the process of being closed.

    If your account is suspended, you’ll need to make a payment to reactivate it so you’re eligible to win. You’ll need to keep your account in an active status until Thursday 13 March 2025 when we draw the lucky winners.

    How do I enter as an existing Linkt customer?

    Entering the competition is easy!

    1. Submit the entry form.
    2. Make sure your account remains active on the competition draw date Thursday 13 March 2025.
    3. 'Opt in' to receive Linkt marketing and promotional communications and remain opted-in on the competition draw date on Thursday 13 March 2025.

    How do I enter as a new Linkt customer?

    Entering the competition is easy! Simply, open a Linkt account between 16 December 2024 and 27 February 2025 and you’ll be entered into the draw.  

    Make sure your account stays active on the competition draw date on Thursday 13 March 2025 so you’re eligible to win. 

    If I’m a new Linkt customer, do I also need to fill out the entry form?

    As a new Linkt customer, you don’t need to fill out the entry form as you’ll be automatically entered once you open a Linkt account.

    What if I don’t want to be automatically entered into the competition?

    If you open an eligible account between 16 December 2024 and 27 February 2025, you’ll automatically be entered in the draw. If you don’t want to be entered into the competition draw, please let us know by emailing competitions@linkt.com.au before 27 February 2025.

    How many times can I enter?

    You can only enter the competition once.

  • Competition draw and prizes

    Competition Draw

    The competition draw will take place at 12PM AEDT, Thursday 13 March 2025.

    The winners will be randomly drawn by an electronic draw process from all entries received. The first valid entry drawn will win a first prize and the next 200 valid entries drawn will win a Second Prize.

    An independent scrutineer will be present to supervise the draw.

    Prize details

    There are 201 prizes up for grabs. The total prize pool is valued at $20,000.

    • First Prize: 1 x $10,000 bank deposit to an Australian bank account
    • Second Prize: 200 x $50 Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercards®

    How many prizes can I win?

    Only one prize can be allocated per person and per Linkt account, even if two or more persons share that account. If both the primary and secondary account contacts are winners, the prize of the higher value will be awarded.

    If I’m a prize winner in previous competitions, am I eligible to win?

    Yes, you’re eligible to win provided you meet the other eligibility criteria.

    How will I know if I’ve won?

    The first prize winner will be notified by phone call using the phone number on their Linkt account and then emailed using the email address on their Linkt account within 7 days of the competition draw.

    Second prize winners will be notified by email using the email address on their Linkt account. Second prize winners will receive their prize via email within 10 working days of the competition draw. The email will include an activation code to redeem their $50 Vault Pays-enabled Prepaid Mastercard.

    Will my personal information be shared?

    We will only share your personal information with third parties if you’re a prize winner, solely for the purpose of prize fulfilment.

    • First prize winner’s first name, last name, and mobile number will be disclosed to VML Australia Pty Limited
    • Second prize winners’ first name, last name and email address will be disclosed to Handling Matters Pty Ltd

    If you’re not a winner, we will not share any personal information with third parties.
